Business Development & Account Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and driven Business Development & Account Manager to join a fast-growing business within the Automotive industry.

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for increasing sales by focusing on maximising existing relationships with current clients, alongside developing new business opportunities and securing sales. You will be targeted on delivering incremental growth through new and existing business.

You will be proactively managing your own diary, prioritising and planning your appointments in line with the Company demands.

It will be required for you to work closely with the Internal Sales team to identify opportunities, solve problems and maintain relationships to the highest standard.

This is a feild sales role, therefore you will be expected to visit clients on a regular basis in the West Midlands region alongside occasional trips to the offices based in Birmingham.

Key duties:

* Deliver on Individual sales KPI's.

* Integrate into the existing salesforce and contribute to Departmental KPI's.

* Drive the growth and profitability of your assigned territory.

* Increase market share within your territory.

* Develop the key dealer network in your territory.

Skills

* You will already be a successful Business Development Manager, ideally with at least 3 years' experience in the Automotive industry (must be B2B)

* An ability to communicate and influence at all levels ideally with multi-channel experience in this sector.

* A highly independent thinker, self-motivated and able to take ownership for their business territory.

* A need to succeed, relishing the challenge of operating in a highly dynamic, sales oriented environment.

* A logical thinker with an innovative though process capable of maximising revenue streams and managing the delivery of a first class service.

* The ability to develop strong working relationships across all areas of the business.

* An analytical mindset, able to strategise, implement, and deliver growth and profitability campaigns in their business.

* A strong commercial awareness is essential.

* This would suit a passionate and energetic individual who is highly driven and self-motivated
