My client is a digital solutions and ERP seller who provide exceptional support and technology solutions to their customers! They are looking to recruit a Sales Manager who can develop new and account manage existing clients.
This is a new role and as such we are looking for someone with the experience of establishing a functional sales resource and strategy into a business.
The ideal person will be:
A mix of a number of things. This is a new role, so we are open on the person and their experience, as long as they have an understanding of some of the technical stuff to do with coding and digital solutions. You must have some form of new business development experience and know how to approach the strategy behind establishing a pipeline of clients.
You will also need to know how to be consultative with your client base as this isn't a quick sell, its very much about a solution! There will be several meetings, proposals put together, ideas sharing and working together to achieve a common goal. This will cover both the new and existing relationships in place.
If you have ran a business previously and understand the requirements of that then you will be able to relate to our clients' customer base so again this would be advantageous.
So, a mix of an IT person, an Account Manager, a Business Development manager and a Director would be just about perfect!
The role is based in Rugby with regular travel to client sites which are anywhere from London to the West Midlands.
Salary - completely open and negotiable as it depends on experience, current package etc but we are looking at anything from £30 - 45k plus commission!
