We are currently looking to recruit an experienced consultative sales professional to head up New Business and Account Management activities for a leading Midlands developer of customised business management software.
The successful candidates will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing the end to end sales process. You will be undertaking lead generation, forecasting, prospecting and driving opportunities to closure.
This is a client centric role where you will use your communication skills to cultivate trusted advisor relationships with clients, from first contact until you close the deal and will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.
You will need to have an entrepreneurial mindset, able to work autonomously and proactively to cultivate relationships from scratch with new clients whilst also developing existing accounts through offering bespoke solutions that solve customers' problems.

Ideally you will have a background in IT Sales more specifically Software based sales where there is an element technical knowledge required and an some project management. You should have a good understanding of commercial business activities and functions to be able to identify potential clients needs and understand general commercial business processes and to be able to offer software solutions.
